Association of Neonatal Nurses-The Foundation for

National Health Service
Corps-(800-221-9393)-The NHSC sponsors both
scholarships and loan repayment programs and 10% of the
available funds are set-aside specifically for nurse
practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician's assistants.
Nurse
Options Registered Nurse Academic Scholarships-Any
Registered Nurse student in their final 6 months of study
(meaning that they are eligible for employment within 6
months) or previous graduates who have not commenced
employment, and possess at least a 3.0 grade point average
are welcome to apply.
The
Patricia Smith Christensen Scholarship-$1,000
scholarship to assist a graduate nursing student who is
pursuing her/his nursing education in the area of
maternal-child or pediatric nursing.
Pediatric
Endocrinology Nursing Society (PENS) - Scholarships
are available to members to help support the cost of nursing
academic programs (BSN, MSN, Ph.D.). Applications are
awarded on the basis of need, in amounts up to $1,000.
Applicants must be active PENS members throughout the
duration of the grant and must complete a scholarship
application.

The Hazel Corbin Grant-
awarded to midwifery students to cover costs of a planned
research project addressing an aspect evidence-based midwifery
care. Applicants must be enrolled in a midwifery education
program that is accredited, or pre-accredited by eth American
College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), Divison of Accreditation, and
that has a supervised research component. The awardee will

Scholarship- For RN's seeking a BA or MA degree; 39
scholarships annually in the amount of $3,000; application
